All our locations are within easy access of the M25 or M20 and all offer on site customer parking and refreshment areas.
 
Drake & Fletcher was founded by Alfred J Fletcher in 1898 and began life as a light engineering company repairing sewing machines and manufacturing hop washing machines. The Motor Division was established in 1908 after Drake & Fletcher had designed and built the first car in Maidstone some years earlier.

From those humble beginnings we have seen over 100 years of achievement and we are now a 4th generation family owned company with every intention of combining the best traditions with the search for future excellence.

Our current chairman is Geoffrey Fletcher, grandson of the founder who retired from active management in 1985 but who still retains a lively interest in Drake & Fletcher. His eldest son, John Fletcher, is Managing Director and John’s brother, Geoffrey, is Deputy Managing Director and is responsible for the Groundcare Division.

Paul Hutchinson joined the Board in 2000 and is responsible for the Motor Division, which has enjoyed considerable growth over recent years thanks to our commitment to customer care and satisfaction. The Motor Division represent Honda, Mazda and Hyundai throughout Kent providing new and used car sales, business car sales, servicing and accident repair for most makes of vehicles.
