Mazda engineers have redesigned the urban compact car for a new generation to produce the All-New Mazda2 boasting a dynamic, attention-grabbing design both inside and out. Displaying a confident and dynamic performance with agile but stable handling and a comfort-enhancing quietness.
Both petrol engines –1.3-litre and MZR 1.5-litre – deliver spritely driving dynamics found across the rest of the sporty Mazda range. There’ll also be a fuel-efficient 1.4 litre diesel engine which will make the Mazda2 THE stylish yet affordable choice.
Built on an all refined platform, it is safer and quieter thanks to the refined body structure it weighs approximately 100kg lighter than its predecessor resulting in excellent fuel economy.
Featuring enhanced safety features such as driver and front passenger airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Emergency Brake-force Distribution and Emergency Brake Assist provides confidence inspiring braking.
The interior has been designed with young drivers in mind and includes a high mounted gear lever for easy shifting. Clever functionality has been incorporated including a newly redesigned glove box featuring a magazine rack that allows users to access road atlases and magazines without having to open the glove box itself as well as a large tray centre console featured on the floor between the front seats to store bags and other personal items.
